Tinker Juarez has been turning the biking world on its head since he flashed onto the BMX scene back in 1978. His latest incarnation as a mountain bike racer and ultra-distance road bike racer has catapulted him to Olympus levels, where he currently holds court next to those other gods.
This February he’ll be at Hotel CINCO, taking riders along a single track in Bucerías to have lunch deep in the jungle at the private Rancho Jaguar. Then, he’ll be taking thrill riders from the village of San Sebastian, 4,500 feet high in the Sierra Madre mountains, back down to sultry Puerto Vallarta. You’ll also have a chance to explore the ancient petroglyphs of Alta Vista by mountain bike, tucked away near the beachside village of Chacala. $850 per person buys you three days of meals, transportation, support and massive fun with Tinker. The camp is limited to only 12 people so, needless-to-say, book it soon to be assured a spot.
